Communicate with a purpose
Se Dueña de tu Ser - Spanish Website
The team over at Own Every Piece wanted to reach more women by providing their website content in Spanish. I organized a focus group for Spanish-speaking women, ages 18-30 to make sure that translations made sense with our audience. After conducting this focus group, I fact-checked and finalized translations before publishing content.
The Digitas Health Blog
Inspired by newsletters like TheSkimm and The Hustle, I created a blog for the Digitas Health SF agency to distribute news stories that mattered to us. Through Google Alerts and WordPress, I created a blog where I summarized the news a few days a week.

Summer is a time when students can take a break and have the chance to learn new skills. Austin radio station KMFA Classical 89.5 hosted its annual Kids Recording Kids, a summer program that teaches students how to produce their own radio show. I wrote the recap to showcase how students in the Austin-area can benefit from this program.
Music in Austin
Writing for ORANGE Magazine gave me the opportunity to interview local music acts and community members who are shaping the Austin music scene. From rock bands to non-profits, I highlighted people worth sharing on an independent platform.

Con Mi MADRE is a non-profit that helps young Latina students and their mothers reach their academic, health and financial goals through a series of events. One of my tasks as an account executive at Texas Tower PR was to write a blog post for their visit to a college campus. I wrote it Con Mi MADRE students and any prospective college student getting ready to begin their college journey.
